Critical Comment:
Pablo Corletti paints and in the act of painting he shows us his so personal spirituality, that in his creative acts, guides us through color to dreams, wishes, distances , closing ups … poetry.Getting inside his paintings is like making a trip to the deepest part of our souls in which the feelings are much contradictory, as we ourselves are human beings . All of a sudden there is a great outburst of light and next we fall into the depths
of sea or imaginary caves , where the technique shows us totally in its great domain of pastes with spatula , paintbrush or handly. Almost his whole body is playing this onyric game and wish of inventing a reality of his own and that wishes that the observer should take his own conclusions about what he sees and feels.In his painting he wants to be autonomous and define himself in a way of his own in this contemporary world where influences of the great masters are present , but it is really good to have something that definitely shows of his own character and that the observer may distinguish it.Pablo aims to this profit.Following all his way, since his veiled ghosts and characters who emerged from darkness and others from light, seeing his evolution and observing the work he now shows at Galeria de la Recoleta , I see a great obstination in giving color to his feelings and searches which gets us nearer to the spiritual artist he is , and it makes us think of a successful future in plastic arts , due to his youth.
